SBI General has unveiled a significant campaign to echo its commitment towards physical and mental health with #7MinutestoGoodHealth.
To enable Indians and help them take control of their physical and mental health, SBI General has partnered with The Yoga Institute, the oldest centre of yoga in the world to curate an easy and effective guided health program to launch a nationwide health awareness initiative "7 Minutes to Good Health". SBI General understands that in our fast-paced lives, we may or may not have time to squeeze in a long workout regimen but sparing just 7 minutes a day is possible. The company has also unveiled its new brand association with Vidya Malavade, an actor and yoga enthusiast, who showcases the right breathing techniques in the byte-size guided video campaign promoted across social media and podcasts.
Shefali Khalsa, Head – Brand and Corporate Communications, SBI General Insurance, said, "With recent challenging times, we have observed the focus on health has not just increased but has also become a necessity. Taking a clue from this, we started shaping up our thoughts to curate something very practical yet simple, and today we unveil #7MinutesToGoodHealth, as SBI General's flagship health property. "
She further added, "Breathing right is of utmost importance and the core objective of this health property. To enable this, we have launched a guided video which stars Vidya Malavade, depicting the right breathing techniques."
"It's a privilege to be associated with SBI General and The Yoga Institute for this transformational campaign." said Vidya Malavade, an actor and yoga enthusiast.
"Breathe right to live right! Breathe right and encourage 7 others to breathe right. Just 7 minutes every day. Join us in this journey to good health." She added.
As a part of the campaign, the company has also partnered with other celebrities and sports personalities as influencers. The names include like Sameera Reddy, Mithila Palkar, Dinesh Karthik, Saina Nehwal, Kuldeep Yadav and Luke Coutinho among others to reiterate its commitment towards health on a larger scale.
With this digital first health campaign, SBI General plans to reach over 8 million Indians and wants to encourage them to practice 7 minutes of right breathing techniques daily which will help them transform their body and mind. This is a nationwide health awareness initiative and the company is planning a series of digital and offline activations across India over the next three months.
